CCCP Mission

We provide, free of charge, refurbished computers to financially challenged families on Long Island. These computers are an essential tool to enhance job skills, promote academic success and, for the homebound, provide a means of communication with the outside world. See our accomplishments.

Generous donors provide us the resources

donors Many generous companies, institutions, and individuals on Long Island donate computers to us. We refurbish these computers and give them to low-income recipients.

Refurbish

Each donated computer is refurbished by an RSVP volunteer. He wipes the internal hard drive, then installs Windows XP and a suite of freeware applications.

Distribute

Various social agencies on Long Island refer clients to us. An RSVP volunteer then delivers and installs a refurbished computer.

Ongoing Needs

We always need new volunteers; funds, equipment, and software to support CCCP activities are difficult to obtain. We need your support to maintain our operations.
